E36 Tire Clearance With Camber Shims

Just threw on some fresh Koni SA's and Eibach Pro-Kit springs on my 328i. With a 225/45 on a 17x7.5 et41 wheel do you think I will have clearance issues with the top of my tires and my front struts if I shim for ~2-2.5 degrees of camber?

No, not with those narrow wheels and tires. I needed spacers with 17x8.5 ET41 and 255/40/17, though just barely.

How thick are the shims that you are running?

I am not using shims. Have -2.5 from plates up top.

You should have plenty of strut clearance using those stock M3 wheels/tires. If you want to go wider you'll need a small spacer to clear the strut. There's loads of fender clearance out front to play with; a 255 on a 17x9 will fit with a spacer and no other modifications.

I did some calculations and it seems as though I should have between 0.1 and 0.2 inches of clearance with -2 degrees of camber. I will follow up with exact alignment specs and the final clearance.
