I have 2 bugs since fixing my car. I just replaced the turbos myself(Shout out to this forum for the help provided! DIY guys are awesome).
The one issue I'm having is what i believe is compressor surge. Here is a video demonstrating the sound. To me, it clearly sounds like air exiting the cone intakes.Any help on this issue would be super helpful. And ideas to combat this.

That sounds a lot like the Buick Grand National I had, it only happened when letting off the throttle (no BOV or Diverter valves). Everyone called it "the Mutant Pigeon" I'd recheck all hoses and clamps, possibly bad diverter valve ?
Thanks. I'll go through all my work again and see if i missed anything. It's a head scratcher because i haven't increased boost levels. I could pop for some forge or turbosmart valves but i don't want to throw 400 bucks in the dark without knowing for sure. I wonder if i can test my diverter valves somehow.
How to check diverter valves

Definitely a blow off valve failure of sorts.. lol. Check the vacuum lines running to the valve/s.. Make sure there are not boost leaks there or in the rest of the charge system. Lastly, it could just be bad valves... maybe the diaphragm or something in them is toast.
