    Angry Insurance issues!

So my car went through some deep water on the street and god flooded. New engine is required but Geico (my insurance company) refuses to pay for a new engine and will only pay for a used one.
I lease the car so it is BMW's property and their lease contract says it can only be repaired with original new parts from BMW. This takes the repair up to the double of the 10K as the inspector would accept.
My question is where does this leave me? because right now they are not getting anywhere and to get closer to a solution. Should I get a lawyer or just wait it out and wait for Geico to total the car instead?

    Anyone tried the same situation?

If the car belongs to BMW, maybe you can enlist their aid against your insurance company. They had to approve the insurance company, didn't they?
Not so much a signature as a cry for help.

Hold on, saw this in a cartoon once...think I can pull it off.

My condolences to your car and the fact that you have Geico. They have to save 15% somehow.

    Good luck.
