What manual transmission is in a 1992 328ci convertible?

I'm looking at picking up a 1992 328ci convertible with a manual tranny and I am wondering what tranny is in there (ZF?, GetRag?).

Is that an e36 or e30? I think all 6cyl e36's used the ZF 320z

Unfortunately being new to the BMWs I'm not 100% sure if it's an e36 or and e30? I'm thinking e36, but again not 100%.

No 328i in 1992. 325i that year. 328i started in 1996. Getrag in 325i 92-95. ZF in 328i 96-99.

OK. Just found out it is not a 1992 328i as pbonsalb has kindly pointed out.

It is a 1998 323i with a 5 speed. Any idea which tranny make/model (example: Getrag 260) this would be?
