Guys
I am getting a rattle sound over uneven roads. The sound is more like plastic on metal not metal on glass. The sound seems to be more at the back and not front of the sun roof. It seems the sound happen more in the morning with cold temps up to 3 deg Celsius.
What could be the problem?
Press on the sliding glass to see if the noise goes away while driving
Yes I did this morning, the sound goes away and is more to the rear of the sun roof, like close to 17 on the picture below. It also seems like the seal No. 8 on the picture is also old making the sun roof bounce.

Number 17 is actually located at the left front of the sunroof assembly... Most people experience noise from the wind deflector #2, making contact with the sliding glass panel.
The seal does deteriate over time and allows for wind noise and water to enter. In many cases, the water found in the trunk and wet headliners are a direct result of the drains being overwhelmed as a result of the failing seal.
I do not remember the specifics but my 2009 550 was fixed under recall/service bulletin at no cost
