Hi,
I am having some problems with my 525i accelerating and erratic shifting.
Does anyone know where to find a good list of BMW acronyms and technical terms?
The term that I am after is EDK?
Hello - I'm attaching a link to an older thread that has this list. The EDK that you're referring to is the Electronic Throttle Valve.

There's literally more Acronyms now than ever before and more than most people can remember. I'd venture a guess there's probably along the lines of 200+ these days...most of the acronyms on that list are not specific to BMW or just bs.
its less futile to ask about specific acronyms rather than the whole set. But yes EDK is throttle

We need an Acronyms software feature.
The software could identify an acronym every time it is typed: both ways short to
long or long to short, change color to blue, underline and show the equivalent when hovering the mouse on the words.
Same with part numbers and or sku or manufacturer numbers.
Would you please send a message to administrators proposing this, so they could decide its priority.
