Trying to replace my FSU on my F10 and getting conflicting responses .... Some say under the hood and on the blower fan and some say under the passenger side dashboard
On the F10, the final stage resister is attached to the blower motor housing. The blower motor housing is accessed and removed from under the hood on the passenger side near the windshield.

Technically both are correct, but you can only access it to service from under the hood.
Do yourself a favor and replace the intake filter while you're there, they only last 4-5 years before the foam breaks down and debris gets into the blower housing.

If you follow the following video, you will be able to get to the final stage unit. in my case i didn't need to change it. While you are in there most likely your foam is also damaged. you can use the following video to get those fixed your self. Remember to disconnect Battery before doing this work.
