I spoke with Ryan, from Eibach, at the recent Bimmerfest 2017 in Fontana, CA. He informed me that they'll gladly accommodate a group buy of e21 lowering springs at wholesale prices. If I recall correctly, he said they'd run ~$125 dollars each, and they'd do a fairly small run. Perhaps, this is not new news to members, but it was new information for me.
$125 for each spring or set?
I understood it to be a set because I commented on the prices from H&R and he said they can go much less because it's not "retail" and they'd be selling in somewhat bulk as a group buy.
Yeah if that's a set would be in.
Wow, from what I understand, the sets that came from Eibach lowered the car a tasteful one inch.
And for that price, very hard to beat.
Keep us posted with updates, very interested!
I currently have what I need, so I'll leave it to others to pursue, if there's interest. Here is a pic of my notes from my conversation with Ryan. Someone can give Ryan a call at 951-256-8300, or contact him at eibach@eibach.com.

I got some NOS Eibachs for my e21 a few years ago. I definitely like the ride height and the performance.

If someone is organizing a group buy for that price, I would be in for a set as well.
I'd be interested in getting a set as well if someone organizes it!
Which shocks/struts were ya'll running for those who used Eibach prior? And $125 for a whole set seems like a great buy, so I'd be in.
Count me in if someone organizes it!
I'd be in for a set.
I'd most likely be in for a set as well!
I loved my old set. I'd be in for a new set.
I tried to call Ryan.
Said he did not go to Bimmerfest.
Then said he will figure out who went and call me back to work out the details.
Just saw on the BMW E21 Trading Post page on Facebook that someone has a NOS set for $150 plus shipping...
Ok so Talked to Ryan.
It is a minimum order of 25 kits.
Their cost per kit is $225.
6-8 week lead time.
Order would have to be placed at one time.
This sounds more correct not sure who gave you that info originally on price and quantity.

Put together a quick spreadsheet to track interested parties. Should be open to anyone with the link but let me know if otherwise
If we hit 25 we can collect necessary details for Eibach.
If there's a better way or if Eibach has preference I can just remove the sheet.

We just need to track it here. That should work fine.
10 qty would probably have been doable not sure about 25 qty.
That brings it to a purchase amount of $5625.
Ebiach will just need one person to place the order.
That person would then have to distribute out the kits.

Need to ask how they will be delivered to the person picking them up - if it is a group bulk buy them may come in wood boxes bulk. May not be boxed as sets which means a lot of work for the person picking them up.

Plus possibly having to pay for shipping twice (once from eibach to the one person and then another from that person to you). Just a thought.
I'd be in for a set too. Tried to update that spreadsheet - it says it's in owner's trash.
Eibach is in California, I would assume they will have these springs at their location in Ontario (I think that is where they are). As mentioned above, someone would need to pick up everything in person and then distribute/ship individual sets. Shipping 25 sets from Eibach will be cost prohibitive, I am sure.
Picking up all 25 sets and redistributing would definitely take some time and effort and that person should be compensated.
Just a thought - if everyone adds $10 to their set, the person who deals with Eibach and has to distribute the individual sets gets their own set for free. I'd say it would be good incentive.
