If same price, what to choose: 2012 Activehybrid7 V8 TwinTB or 2014 335i Activhybrid3

If purchase price was similar, low mileage on both cars, slightly lower on the 3 series, what would you choose in terms of getting solid performance, but still good reliability now and in the future. These cars won't have a warranty by the time of purchase.

I would most definitely go with the 335i over the 7 series. From what I've heard, the 3 series is a lot more reliable and the overall cost of ownership is a lot less. Just my 2 cents...best of luck with the purchase.

I would never buy a first generation hybrid BMW out of warranty. Sounds expensive... Good luck either way

Comparing a 3 series to a 7 series is apples to oranges. They are at the complete opposite ends of the spectrum.

Thanks for feedback, this is what I was looking for. The 7 series is tempting at the same price, but do I just get myself into trouble by choosing that over the 3 series hybrid?
