I removed the TCU Phone module from my 2004 330 and installed a ULF Bluetooth module in its place. I successfully used DIS to add the ULF module to the ZCS. Now I'm trying to use DIS to remove the TCU. Dis is asking for the vehicles clearance code before it will proceed.

Anyone know where to find the clearance code?

Just use NCS Expert to do it.

Ok where do I find a list of the 3 digit codes for the different options\modules listed in the VO? All I need to do is remove the one for TCU then write the new VO to the car. I've been searching since last night and I can't find a list anywhere. I've only used NCS once before a long time ago. My learning curve on this is pretty steep even with all the different tutorials online.

Put your VIN into bmwvin.com and it'll list all your options and the options codes.

Thanks. So the option codes are the same codes used in the VO? Why am I sceptical?

VO code = option codes for the most part.
Better system than the old ZCS.

For the most part yes. There can be additional things in the VO that are not option codes, but the option codes otherwise correspond to VO codes. If something is listed as SA205, it will be listed as $205 in the VO

Ok thanks. I never needed NCS in my e36. I always used DIS and never felt the need to learn NCS. There is a bit of a learning curve going on but it's starting to sink in.
