Cool Shirt Bag system -- anyone tried this?

As title says, has anyone tried the Cool Shirt "Club Bag" system? http://coolshirt.com/product/club-bag-system/

I've got a Cool Shirt for use in Lemons but don't have the full system....and want one in my E36. I have rollbar/harnesses/seats but still carpet and other interior bits. Summer trackdays here are 105+ sweatathons.

Has anyone used this Club Bag system? Thoughts? How did you mount it, if you have fixed backs and a rollbar?

    Thanks!

Cool idea, I'd love to hear more.

Seems like mounting would be the big challenge, but probably could just strap it to the roll cage somewhere.

Yea. My worry would be how to keep it from swaying like crazy on track. Would a tech inspector or grid worker/instructor care, if it's hanging from the rollbar by the D-rings on the sides?

I dunno. Neat idea, so I'd love to hear any first-hand experiences or wild mounting ideas. I don't particularly want to run the boxy cooler unit in my spare tire well if I can avoid it.

If there's a passenger seat in the car why not just strap it in?

That'd definitely work. Ideally it could be mounted so that I can take passengers too, but that's not as high a priority as not melting haha.

How often do you go out long enough with a passenger that you need a cool shirt? I'd think throwing it into the passenger seat would work really well. We put our camelback bag there when racing.

I can make one in any size cooler I want for less than $100. And yet, I keep saying "yeah, I need to get that done this month," and I don't. They're about $80 away from snagging me as a sale.
If God meant for man to motor-swap LS engines into track cars, He wouldn't have created Corvettes.
