    Handbrake Button removal

    I am trying to swap out ONLY the black handbrake button. My current button was hacked up by PO and looks and feels bad. Can't figure out how to get it off; tried pulling it straight out with brute force and unscrewing but both methods are ineffective. Any tricks to getting this removed?     You'll be better off replacing the lever.
