E60 versus F30 weight

I'm considering a 2014-2016 328i. I have a 2008 528i now. I've been comparing the specs and it appears that the F30 weighs more than my E60. Is that correct? My E60 brochure says the unladen weight is 3571 lbs. the F30 specs say 4453 lbs. How can this be? Thanks

The F30 weight you have must be gross weight. The F30 sedan is 3350 or so: http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...fications.aspx
