I wholeheartedly agree. I don't care about the audio stuff at all, which I realize is the point when you are Clarion, but the general refurb of the car looks to have been very nicely done. My E31 needs new leather everywhere, but it's a long way down the priority list. Exterior repaint comes first, and I'm not that far down the list either!

I remember looking at this months ago, but one thing I cannot remember -- when they did the manual transmission swap, did they use a 560 gearbox, or retrofit a 420 or something else entirely? More curiosity than anything else.

I'm good with the M-par wheels, but the door sills are a bit gratuitous... especially as they "didn't get deep into the engine".

Anyone know what they did with the exhaust? Sounds pretty good......That double din in the console however; negative. Looks way too bulky with that trim ring. If you must have a double din it can very easily be molded in with fiberglass and textured to match the rest the interior. IMO

I believe in the full length video the manager of the ship where the mechanicals were done, said that he just happened to have an E31 six speed lying around back in his parts dept.

Mine didn't either. I believe those came on the CSi's from the factory!

The door sills with the chrome M insert was only on the CSi. The later models had chrome without the M on them in the US.

Anyone know what the 'custom exhaust' they refer to is being used? Does sound pretty good...unless it's just audio sound effects....
