Looking for Inpa 3.01

Hi everyone!

I need an older INPA version to diagnose my e32 750i car and i have heard that 3.01 version is working with e32 and early e36 cars. I tried to google, but results were suspicious. It would be great if someone had that version in english and in metric (celsius, km/h). Oh, and also installation instructions would be nice. Any tips where to get that version for 32-bit win xp pro laptop? PM me if you have one

First, what interface are you using to connect to the car?


It's not the INPA version so much (although maybe there are some differences), it's more the EDIABAS version.

That interface will work fine with your cars. If you have any issues with the DELL laptop, you may need to use the special ADS driver for DELL (only required with some DELL computers due to unusual serial port configuration).

Ok thanks for your answer. Where do I get that ADS driver if I need that?

What do I actually need to diagnose those cars I listed on the first post?

I have used INPA on both E32 and E36 with an ADS interface. The ADS32.dll for DELL is here ads32-dell.dll.txt (just delete the .txt extension). It should be inserted in your c:/EDIABAS/Bin folder. If you have trouble with the E32, you can try using DIS v44 or I also have DIS v39.

Can you remember what was the version of the INPA when you were using that with E32?

Correction - I used INPA v 3.01 on the E36, but had to use DIS on the E32 as INPA does not have the appropriate files for non-EWS cars.
