hi all looking into buying another e46 325ci or 330ci. But i was wondering what the difference between high-line, sport, special, sport special and clubsport editions? Are there any major differences and if so what are they? cheers.
Hopefully someone from OZ will chime in, but none of us in the USA/CA will know (probably 80%-90%).
Best thing is to decode your VIN bu using one of the decoding sites and looking at each option code: www.bmwvin.com is one.
Her's something I found but as mentioned, you really need an Aussie with knowledge to chime in.

mmm it its weird since my 325ci special edition is an individual build but has the sports suspension as well as the m sports pack 2 or whatever its called. i guess tahtd be purely down to it being an individual build?
i ran the vin through, found a few interesting things. Could you tell anything from these? the only problem i have with this car (mine) is its an auto hence why im chasing another car but manual, question is, would a manual swap be a realistic / cheaper alternative then buying a similarly spec e46 in manual?

Looking at the list, your car is maxed out on Sports/Msports stuff, which includes suspension, appearance (bumper valences, etc.), colors, interior appointments, maybe a spoiler?, hopefully the seats, and interior and exterior trim. The "individual" is probably a special color somewhere (not sure.)
