So I have a 540i manual transmission 125k all leather interior 9 out of 10 condition V8 built in Germany driven in Germany shipped to the United States. Trying to get some ideas on value I may be willing to sell.
Keep in mind this is the same trans as the E39 540i/6 so I'd think like $800-1200

I think the entire car is for sale.
Oh yeah, you're right. I just skimmed

Is the whole car 9/10 or just the interior?
Your lack of real information leaves nothing but a bug guess.
Somewhere between $800 and $7000.
My reaction as well. One factor that ads significantly to the value of vehicles this old is service/maintenance records. Also, a verification of originality (e.g. matching VIN numbers, and record of no accidents) is an imperative in commanding top dollar. All E34s were built in Germany so there is nothing differentiating about this. If is an import from Germany then a record of US federalization is important for resale. How is the undercarriage? The E34 has some rust weak spots like the jack points. At 125K miles it is not a low mileage vehicle.
Assuming everything is in order, you might hit the $7K mark if you had a hot to trot enthusiast. The E34 models that seem to hold or appreciate in value are the limited production ones like the 540 M Sport and M5.
