What a disappointing race. Hammy cruising with the fastest car, Bottas taking it easy, and the Ferraris tripped up by others. Kimi isn't even going that fast... We'll see if he has to pit again soon on top of everything.

Hoping for safety car to be deployed just as Kimi is about to pit...maybe Vettel double-stacking too!

Force India's ahead of Ferrari. Verstapen definitely compromised our race, but a podium is still a possibility.

Ok, it's on now! Kimi and Vettel WILL catch the Force Indias and Ricciardo. Now it's up to how badly the FI and RB's tires will be worn at the end of the race, and how badly the Ferrari's tires will drop too.

Add a safety car and we've got even more to play for! (2nd place possibly even in that case)

I think this is the universe punishing Alonso for teaming up with Briatore. And the Ferrari-McLaren spy gate stuff, and who knows what other shenanigans Fernando was involved in... Even if Alonso didn't actively take part in the stuff that went down (yeah right...), he certainly knew about several things.

Oh, come now! If points were awarded for an engine manufacturer's ability to accurately represent their own slogans, Honda would be right up top with Merc.

"The Power of Dreams!" vs. "The Best or Nothing."

    Millennial Hashtags vs. Stoic Engineers.

    Seems like a fair fight.

I really enjoyed that race! Tons of stuff going on, ups and downs for a number of teams, great battles in a number of places down the field...sure, the Mercedes sailed into the sunset but I honestly didn't really care; there was more than enough other stuff to pay attention to.

Forget Senna, I think it's mindblowing that Jim Clark is still tied for 5th overall in pole positions, considering he only ran 72 GPs ever. (And he won more than a third of them. Only Ascari and Fangio did better, and Fangio called Clark the best ever. Most importantly, he never openly threatened to and admitted to crashing people on purpose.)

....Not to get off-topic, but I was just inspired to look up Jimmy's F1 race record. If his Lotuses weren't such fragile pieces of crap, he could have won as many as 5 OUT OF 8 championships. That's crazy business.
