Already starting to look like two car championship
^At least they're from two different teams this year.

Come on Bottas.
So I hear that Robert Kubica is wanting to come back to F1 racing? He's been doing a couple of testings with Renault.
Yes, he did and also in WEC.
These cars still don't sound great, but even then they are immensely better than the 2014-2016 cars. Sound echoing through the circuit in FP1

Alonso essentially said that if McLaren isn't winning by September, he'll leave the team. So...no Alonso at McLaren next year then?
Current: '94 MX-6 V6/5 • '72 240Z • '10 Mazda5
Past: '02 330i/5 • '85 RX-7 GSL-SE • '95 540i/6 • '95 525i/5 • '86 635CSi/5 • '88 JZA70 • '86 4K quattro • '85 RX-7 S

That's a good sign for McLaren. September is also their deadline for Honda. If no wins by September then Alonso leaves and McLaren also switches to Mercedes. And we all know that if Alonso leaves a team they're world champions immediately after that, that's just a law of nature.

If Renault, then it would be Mclaren's second time partnership with a French engine manufacturer. First time being with Peugeot engines back in mid 90s.

The fact that Liberty Media is letting them post stuff like this on the official channel is freaking awesome:

I hope it translates into good track position tomorrow. I think the hardest part of the McLaren-Honda fiasco is that so many fans really want them to do well. I, for one, would love to see Honda get their shit together and have this partnership work out again like it did in the Senna/Prost days.
Oh barf.

Hamilton: you haven't equaled Senna in any way. You just had the best cars fed to you with a silver spoon and the seasons had much more races. You will never even get close to Senna, do not even try to compare yourself to him.

McLaren Honda return to top step!
