Hi guys, Im new to the forum and Im new to owning a Bimmer!
I have an E46 325 (auto) which came with 17" 5 series wheels as a factory upgrade, anyway it was fitted with 225/45/17 runflats (horrible things) and I have just replaced the rears but I went to 235/45/17 standards as I have a spare.
I have recently noticed a knock/thud when jabbing the brakes that appears to be coming from the n/s/r (before fitting tyres) but what I get now is when cornering moderately to the right I get a rubbing from the n/s/r, it sounds like tyre contact to me but only happens when cornering.
Now my theory on this is the rear trailing arm bush on that side, this would account for the thud when jabbing the brakes on and off and would account for the obvious movement when cornering but as Im no expert on BMW's I just wanted to grab your thoughts?

Many thanks in advance
