Haha, thanks - just happy to help!
If so it usually is 'pa66 + gf30' or 'pa6 + gf30' something along those lines. Anyone with an M60 and some effort could tell us what the stock pulley is made from the issue is replicating the production. The tooling for the molds alone would cost way more than making some aluminum pulleys
Your last note was what really scared Greg off I think, and we are shooting for affordability (even cheaper than VACs) as well as functionality.

Not a big update: Greg has been in a wormhole of designing M60 FI parts, which will interest a few here. He's basically reverse-engineered and improved Dinan's Vortech kit. More details later...
On the pulley front, we're going to use the 11511733429 OEM water pump pulley for a slick, $25 underdrive pulley. Greg just needs to finalize the pulley grooves on the other two pulleys, and then we'll test fit on my car with belts, and the kit will be ready to go! We should have a few spare sets and can make more as demand...demands.
Awesome!

Here's a good thread with some part numbers and whatnot regarding the pulleys and belt sizes.

Biiiiiig bump, Angry Ass Solutions now has the prototype set of underdrive pullies "in the wild" running around!
UnrulyGrace's newly minted motor has our inaugural set: the larger, custom-milled and grooved aluminum power steering pulley, and OEM Euro-spec larger water pump pulley:
To our entertainment, this pulley set (only a few mm off of VAC's set) works perfectly with the factory belt size. Not only does VAC sell you a $150 part that is essentially no larger than a $25 OEM part (their aluminum WP piece is quite a bit heavier than OEM, further lowering the ROI), they make you buy a belt as well--when you can run what you brung, in reality.
We are heading into production with this prototyping complete, and will be releasing this product on www.angryasssolutions.com shortly. I will update this thread, and PM those who signed up for a set once we're ready. The final aluminum PS pulleys will be anodized black, but of course, and we will not provide a belt since your stock one works/is available at any auto parts store (even if they have to order it, which happened to Grace and I).
Great stuff! I recommend you guys specify exactly which belt is the correct size. As the owner of a Euro 540i, my standard belt length is different than for a USA model because mine came stock with the larger water pump pulley. I believe the stock size for USA is 7PK1580 while the stock Euro size is 7PK1605.

Very good point, and I had no idea because we just got the stock 1580mm belt to fit on UnrulyGrace's car with no issues. There is enough adjustment in the tensioner, apparently, but we will be sure to call this out. There is also a 1594mm belt, which fit on the test car as well as the 1580 belt.
Emailed you back as well, Eddy; you have been a huge help and we appreciate it!
We are live with 6061, Mil-spec anodized power steering pulleys; OEM Euro BMW water pump pulleys; and associated hardware! Coming soon we will have belt options as well.

Pretty rad, I like the caution note on the site about operating in cooler temps... food for thought
I don't know that I'd really need or benefit from these pulleys now with that info.
BUT, if there's anyway a product video or any video could benefit you guys - please don't hesitate to ask. I'm happy to help out fellow e34 community people who are helping to further the life spans and enjoyment of the e34s.
We are very interested in ramping up (from nothing, LOL) that side! Give us a shout at jolly . ass @angry ass solutions . com (no spaces) when you get a chance?
We'll be dyno-testing the pullies. VAC claims a very optimistic 8whp with the same dimension units, but we'll see!
Bump!
We produced a small first batch of these pulleys (4x units), sold out now; but we keep receiving requests about them, and I bet we can drudge up enough committed and interested buyers to whip up a second production run.
I know of at least 3x interested parties, let's get a list going here. I will post to IG, as well.
We will require a near-50% deposit down for these. So $50 a head will reserve a PS pulley. No deposit is needed for the WP pulleys, since we get them from BMW and resell them at no profit.
Angry Ass capital comes from Greg and myself, and we are currently focused on building complete E34 M5s. While we're happy to support the M60-based cars, we do need help funding these production runs
There is motivation to make Production 2 a larger batch; if we hit a certain number, we can lower your price!
Post here; PM me here; send us a DM on IG; or email us at jolly.ass @ angry ass solutions . com
Was there ever a dyno test/reviews/feedback from the first batch? Any overheating issues with the water pump pulley? Increased steering effort with the other? My first car didn't even have power steering so probably not a huge issue. I'd be tentatively interested based on some feedback. Thanks!
