I have to agree. She was better younger but now it's too "hollywood slutty" of a look for me. /sorryguys

    it's not even that.
i'm gonna get flamed so bad for this, but IDC.
she's got a soft body. she's shaped well, but i feel like she looks way better dressed than un. i like chicks a bit more fit. curves are fine, but toned booty is better than a ton of it.

Haven't seen the v8chassis mounts myself but that's cool if he makes a JZ/ZF option. As for shifter I did the AKG but any chassis mount and cutting down the selector rod seemed easier than modifying the stock shifter. You can weld so you have an advantage over me :p
I just had a bad experience with ordering some parts from them and them never shipping, then it being hard to get into contact and get it resolved. I know things can fall through the cracks, but it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

I've got two non-vvti 1JZ's going, but maybe next time I'll do vvti.
I do like that they're single off the bat but I knew I wouldn't be keeping the non-vvti twins so that didn't stop me.
I mean, if they're already single, doesn't that mean you don't need to get a new manifold? That's a huge part of why I haven't looked in to 2jz

I'm not complaining, but since it's my thread can't it at least be Jennifer Anniston this time? lol

If you buy a quality made manifold, they will be the same price. If you are buying mass produced manifolds, they will be more expensive than the non-vvti just because of demand. A hand built manifold uses the same amount of material and labor, only difference is the split exhaust runners so there would be no difference in cost. On an upgraded stock turbo I will make 400hp so at this moment I have not planned to do a different manifold. I'm sure that will change with a short amount of time and complacency

If you are looking to make more than ~450hp you will need a larger frame turbo, which will require moving to a top mount turbo manifold.

I'm very surprised to see this! AKG is the only company I have ever dealt with that actually refunded the difference between what I paid for shipping, and actual shipping costs, everything I order from them comes fast and complete. No hassles at all, and right now, ordering all my parts for the car has been a nightmare with LS parts fitting, UPS losing things, Multiple sources, Drop shipping, etc.

My LS car is 420 wheel, I'm looking for this one to be around 400. What's a good recipe for that to investigate?

The price has gone up, but DriftMotion rebuilds the stock turbo with an extended compressor wheel, and a billet exhaust wheel (they are ceramic from OEM). This setup should get you to 400 slightly before running out of breath. It's a ~$750 service to upgrade the turbo. You could also go with the Tomei Arms M8280 kit. This turbo is good for every bit of 450hp. It is ~1300 for the kit. I have no personal experience with the setup but I have heard more upsetting accounts than successful.

You will need to upgrade fuel pump / injectors. I've got 780cc FID injectors in my motor (When you order injectors, order them sized for a 7M) but that is a bit overkill. You will need at least 550cc for 400hp on pump.

You will also need some type of engine management. I'm not too familiar with piggy backs but many people have success with Apexi FIC6 and the EcuMaster DET3. I would love to put a DET3 on a car to play with it, seems like as perfect as a 'piggyback' product can get. I went with a stand alone engine management (EcuMaster EMU Black to be specific) and it's working well. I went with that unit specifically because my E46 is DBW, and I wanted to keep that functionality on the motor as well. The ECU Master unit also supports the E46 canbus so the dashboard works as it should (Tach/Temp/Speed/CEL).

Well we picked up that vert!

an M3 popped up at the local UPAP, so we snagged the rear cradle. Ended up paying 1/5 of what I paid for the last one for it. Good day!

Also, I got a new SLR kit on the way for the LS car, so this one will be getting the takeoff kit from there.
