Well, at least here in Finland these cars are not gaining any interest at all. There are the same cars for sale year after year. Only way to get one sold is to drop the price to ridicilous level. These cars are already at half the price compared to Germany market and still they don't get sold. These cars are not wanted here at all. I must say i'm not surprised because the way things are going it's propably not too many years when we are in a situation you just can't drive with cars like these because of the environmental issues.

This is pretty much the reason why it seems that the only unique and/or moderately classic cars in Europe are only in the hands of car companies and the ultra-rich. Even aside from the environmental legislation, you have insane taxes/registration costs associated with older cars, not to mention the inspection requirements. It makes me sad that the governments of Europe are actively against people driving these vehicles.

European goverments have a very ambitious plans to reduce emissions in the near future. One big part of that is the traffic emissions. European union is pushing these changes hard.

You mean Jerry's Kids? It's a wonderful charity. Excuse me, I'm late boarding my train to nowhere.

+1. I've lived in the UK, France, the Netherlands and now Cali. All are far more complex when it comes to car registration than any U.S. State. France and California are at the top of the list when it comes to complexity of registering a classic. YMMV
