$800 later and I have new hatch trim pieces. My rear hatch was also missing the insulation, which made a bigger difference than I would have thought for such thin foam.

Fixed my windshield sprayers with leftover garden drip line! The rear sprayer still doesn't work though. I don't hear the pump running, so that seems like the likely culprit.

Also discovered that my headlight adjusters need replacing...

I wasn't in a hurry, so I had FCP price match Genuine New Parts.com. I did it for the warrantee just in case the trim breaks again...

Picked up an e39 M5 LSD and driveshaft. Think that's everything I need to do the conversion.

Out of curiosity, what's the going rate for the LSD and driveshaft?

Took a break from work work and replaced my headlight adjusters using the no bake, no cut method. First headlight took 2 hours, second headlight took 45 minutes, but only because the fiber optic bundle was blocking the t15 screw, so I had to unclip them to push them out of the way. I think the real key to getting this done quickly is knowing that once the light buckets are disconnected from the adjusters, you can shift them in a way that gives you room at the top of the headlight, so that you can push the new adjusters deep enough into the housing to slot them into the right spots. Just need to aim them now!

I converted my 840 from an auto to a stick. I put in a DUDMD manual engine chip replacing a DINAN chip. The DINAN trans chip became moot. I also swapped in a 3.15 LSD. Car went from sedate touring car to a car that is fun to drive. I also went from two batteries to one. Overall I dropped about 200 lbs. Less weight equals more performance.

Have been daily driving the wagon since my old Mazda died. Changed the battery and alternator today; probably would have been smart to change the alternator while I was doing the guides. Draining the coolant to change an alternator is so silly.

New bumper was installed a couple weeks ago. Still deciding if I'm going to keep the old one.
