My wife X5 2002 4.4l just died on side of road.yesterday I change oil, fuel filter, spark plugs, both cam sensors and crank sensor i purchase this thru pelican parts.my wife drove car for 100 miles today and just died and can't start just cranking i get code P0370 pull out crank sensor all look good clear code and same thing. What should i do next? Thank you for any suggestions
You can't always trust generic code scanners P-codes but it allears to be setting cam timing faults...
The fact that it won't start is concerning. It's possible your timing chan guides have broken and it jumped time.
You need to get it looked at by a shop as Internet speculation only goes so far. Good luck
There was a thread on doing the guides awhile back, very detailed but it's quite a bit of work
Here's the link. Different motor, but I imagine it's pretty similar.
