i installed air ride on my e92 335i and during the process my battery was completely dead, i had to charge it from another car for about 25 minutes before mine turned on but when it did, the rpms would surge from 500-1500. i had to drive it home and i could not get above 2k rpms and maxed out at 40mph in 4th gear. i got it to a shop and its currently sitting there but we ran codes and it came up with all of the codes: 2ACC, 2ACB, 2A9A, 3100, 2A9B, 2A9E, 2A9F, 2CEF, 2D09, 2DEB and 2FBC. all of these codes were not there before this air install and battery died. we did not mess with anything in engine or ecu. only electrical thing we messed with is the power to the compressor is in with the cigarette lighter fuse because its only hot when the car is on. any suggestions on what to do? like i said car is at a shop but wondering what other people think about it.
Right off, we know that you have a dead battery. We just don't know how dead. If it took 25 minutes with the jumper cables attached just to get your battery up to a voltage so that you could start your car with the assistance of another battery, your battery is likely still way under voltage and BMWs are very sensitive to weak battery situations.
First, check the voltage of your battery. A fully charged battery should read about 12.6 volts. At 12.2 volts, the battery is, for all practical purposes, dead. Put your battery on a charger and let it charge over night. Check the voltage and clear the codes and see what that gets you. I'd also check all of the fuses to make sure that you didn't blow anything during the installation.
I did not look up all of the fault codes that you have listed, but I do recognize the codes for a DME main relay fault, which I believe will cause the 3100, which I believe is limp mode. A quicker method of checking the battery situation would be to install a battery that is known to be good.
I see you're not familiar with BMWs.
BMW is very proud of their suspension design, and putting airbags on the car is kind of like putting water wings on Michael Phelps.
You're going to need to do a full exorcism , and then ceremonially beg forgiveness from the Bavarian goddesses.
This should be accompanied by burning the horrifically insulting ricer things in a fire, twenty feet in front of the car.
Don't forget to remove the compressor and all hacked wiring, because BMWs HATE having their electrical systems messed with......
Then clear all the codes, with a good BMW specific diagnostic computer.

Dang, Chris. You sound like me talking to my #3 son.
Agreed. But trh602, if you're going to slam it, at least put on some stiff springs, quality struts and a fat bar up front. The cars are called The Ultimate Driving Machine not so that they can sit and be admired at a Coffee & Cars.
Good luck with getting the car repaired.
