LS into 1976 e12 530i HELP!

Sup guys.i have a big problem.i bought project car a 1976 e12 530i it has a none working engine.im planning to swap the engine to a 92 LT1 corvette which i already purchased.it comes with complete engine harness,starter,a/c,alternator etc and automatic transmission.im doing the swap by myself.i just have a couple of questions before i do the swapping.
1.what car parts do i need to remove or need to stay ( or can be re-used )?
2. Can i used the old drive shaft for my new transmission?or do i need to buy a new one specific for corvette?
Can someone help me out.i really do appreciate any tip or advice.coz i really want to make it work.thanks

That doesn't qualify as an LS swap, in any way. It's a SBC V8 swap, with it's own unique wiring hassles.
You'll probably need to have a new driveshaft custom-made, conversion U-Joints from GM to BMW just don't exist. That means, at a minimum, cutting a yoke off one end of whatever driveshaft proves long enough, and having a different yoke fitted and welded, plus a re-balance.
