Purchased e39 with s52

My friend and I went half on this 98 528i with an s52.

Me and my friend made a deal that he would get the s52. And I would get everything else. The car has oem m5 wheels. (All 5 of them) it has a two tone black and Grey interior. Dinan exhaust ( I think) And upgraded hella headlights. Only thing it's missing is a 1 rear door panel. Had some kind of black wood trim it looks like.

My question is. What else can I part out that is valuable on this vehicle ? And that people will want?? I have a 97 540i. So I pretty much just purchased it for the wheels and headlights.

Wheels, bumper, all of the modules (air bag, abs, etc), interior if it's nice.

The body looks straight -- you can probably take the fenders/doors, trunk, hood. Is that real shadowline trim?

Side markers, cluster, window regulators, if they're working. Carpet... of course, all of this if you have the space.

My friend is putting the s52 in his e21. And I have an e36 m3 already.

Nothing is wrong with the car. It runs. Just needs to be completely gone through. A few rat nests, but nothing that my Kirby vacuum can't suck up.

The shadowline trim is like matte black. (Which I'm not to familiar with)
Hopefully I can get it out in one piece !

One side of the bumper looks to have been repaired with fiberglass. And the person who did it Looks to have had a field day with the resin. So the bumper isn't in great shape.

Shame to part out an interesting build like that. Didn't look terrible from outside but... That's never really telling.

A shame it can't be kept whole and fixed up. Would make a SERious lightweight sleeper if de-badged and wheels were downgraded a touch.
I've always liked the concept of an M3 mill in a 5er.

If pixels are good then keep those displays.

I'm finding out really fast how popular this trim is. Does anyone know the part number for automatic shifter with this trim?

I might end up keeping the trim if I can complete the set.

You don't buy the "shifter". You just buy the little trim stripper that clips to the shift knob.

Reach out to DKing078, he pulls and restores and sells trim sets in the reg. Solid dude.

He may well have your missing part in a partial set and he also may have a shifter piece if he pulled a set and then sold it to somebody for a manual who didn't need/want it.
