Ive been looking around for some new tires as my current rubber is 7 years old and cracked at the bead. What I have on right now are Michelin a/s 205/60R16 and don't really have any issues with this size but Im just curious as to what other options are ideal. I don't really drive like a maniac, I do corner hard sometimes but thats about it. Should I stick with stock size? Got a quote from goodyear..240 for 4 new primewells all seasons. Anyone have experience with these? Money is kind of tight, should I keep looking or pull the trigger on these?

If possible, save up a few dollars and buy a decent tire. Those are junk, not something I'd want between myself and the road.

I've been happy with Dunlops, Kumhos, Hankooks and Michelin. I'd do some reading here and at TireRack.com Tires don't have to be crazy costly to be good, so do some research/shopping.

That tire size will limit your options somewhat. For example, you miss out on the best high performance tires from Michelin and Continental. However, it looks like the Dunlop Signature HP high performance all seasons are pretty good and they run $300-400/set.
If you just want a normal eco/cruising road tire, there's some good ones in the lower performance categories. The Continental purecontact or whatever they call them are good. I have those on my Mazda crossover thing. The tirerack testing results are generally pretty accurate for those sorts of tires. Less so for track tires.
