Im stuck between hawk hp+ and carbotech ax6.
I want the carbotech pads but is the extra 50/axle worth it?

A lot of E36 guys I've spoken to runs and likes HP+. Why try something else if the current stuff works?

Been running HP+ for a long time. Strong initial bite, but I'm tired of the noise, dust, and rotor wear. I am going back to Axxis Ults.

    No racecars...
Also used to run the HP+ and think they are a really nasty pad with unspectacular performance. I am now running the Ferodo DS2500 and find them to still be quite dusty but they aren't nearly as squeaky and seem to stop the car quite nicely.

I thought Axxis Ultimates were no where as good as HP+. I went back-to-back with Tyler and my car, and we both preferred my setup. HP+ front/Stoptech Street rear > Axxis Ult all around.

The Ults don't offer the same level of performance as the HP+s, I just hate the noise, rotor wear, and dust of the +s. The dust is the worst part. Actually the noise is the worst part. Well, they're both terrible.

Yea, that's true. I've stopped trying to keep it clean due to the dust. I just Plastidipped my wheels to stop having to clean them. The noise hasn't been too bad. Didn't put any antisqueal on mine and they sometimes make noise, not every time.

I haven't found anything I liked better than stock textars for autocross.
