E31 Rally

Here's a notification to E31 owners in the Mid Atlantic area, there will be an E31 rally on Sunday June 11, 2017 in Ellicott City. MD.

Does sound like fun. In the northeast we can't seem to get more than 3 e31s in the same place at the same time. There is a Lime Rock event the same weekend. Hopefully I can get up there.

This is perfect timing for me -- i'm getting mine back from the shop this Tuesday or Wednesday. They've had it for over three months, fixing a ton of things including the EDC shocks. They actually shipped them back to BMW in Germany, who then contracted out the rebuilding, and now they're covered under BMW warranty. I still have a bunch of little things to do, like fix the dead MID pixel display, and find a trunk panel for the CD changer delete, etc. etc. LOL, it never ends, does it? Looking forward to meeting you guys -- I've been off the E31 grid for more than 4 years, but I'm glad to be back.

I thought you had a green car. Did you change out or am I going senile? Good to see other long time 8 owners around.

No, I've always had the Calypso car. Brooklyn has a green 850, perhaps you're thinking of him.
