Hey chaps. This is the 2nd time I've got the e8 heat error message. Then after a while the E2 message comes up. I'm running a Bosch sensor. I've got it wired with a really to the fuel pump so it's only on when the engine is running and I've also installed the thick weld in exhaust bung.
Is it a wiring issue not being enough capacity to run the heater element or is it a heat issue itself.
Please help. Never had such issues with my ugo sensor

I think innovate determines sensors are no good sooner than other brands. I probably won't buy another innovate. Had 2 and they require new sensors too often. But try an extender heat sink if you want or relocate the 02.
I wouldnt be wiring it to the fuel pump because you want the o2 to come on when the key is on, not when the pump/engine are running
And save your self the hassel and just buy an AEM gauge. Cheap and easy to wire.

It's wired to the fuel pump as sometimes the car could sit with te ignition on without running which I would have thought would stop the issue of the heater running for periods without the engine on

Most likely the sensor, try recalibrating but if it comes back then sensor is probably doneso in the innovates eyes. We've used lots of innovates the lc-2 gave us the most trouble and just starting to have problems with an mtxl but its holding out. I'll keep running mine until it starts acting up. Their QC seems to be fickle
