Major success for us as an 8-community in our first 24 hours of releasing the E31 film.
With 83000 views and 750 comments (90% positive) in just 24 hours, this morning, BMW GROUP of Germany with nearly 20 million fans on facebook also posted the film on their social media page.
Congrats to all of us in the 8 community. We've come along way in the past 20+ years keeping this car and its glory alive.
In 48 hours the new 8-series will be unveiled. I have asked our team in Italy for exclusive photos from the live event and I will try to post them here immediately so we can see it before the rest of the world does.
If any group of people deserve to see it first, it's us. Whether the design of the new 8 is a failure or success, I personally do not care. It's an 8 and I will love and embrace it no matter what. I have plans to buy/lease a new one as soon as it is available. 😊👍
Regards
Alec Cartio.

Amazing production. Cudos to Taylor. Here is my comment on FB:
"Great video from one our best family members of 8 owners. Taylor and his 850csi are an inspiration for us fellow owners of a very unique machine. As an owner of another very low production Dinan 850TT, I have always referred to them as a "jet on wheels". The Dinan modified 850 produces 530bhp/610tq. The technology, engineering and quality have never been surpassed imo. Very few of these "purist" owner 850's remain. Thanks for a great presentation to all involved.
Outstanding news! Congratulations on your success. We look forward to more of the same and a possible video of SoCalEights.
The shots of his 850CSi in the full video are amazing.
I wonder if mine is any more valuable now because I have that car's struts on mine... Hahahah
Thank you Fern. This all makes me remember those conversations and ideas you and I had 5 years ago about starting to make E31 films. We did it, and did it with a BIG BANG finally. timing is everything I guess. lots more to come soon.

Fantastic job guys, what a great homage to to the e31. Taylor Patterson for President!
Great Video, watched it the other day as it popped up on youtube suggestions.
This week the word 8-Series has been put on the world map again with huge success. The Classic and the New. We're going to see the difference at BimmerFest next weekend. Already when I drive around town I get a lot more glances and photos taken of my car than before.
As Borat says. SUCCESS!!!! ??
