    Magnaflow

    Hello
Has anyone installed Magnaflow in a 850I / 92? In such cases, what number have you used, think 14862.
Thank you for your photos and comments

I swear, my cars are like a girlfriend.
Sometimes its a rough ride, sometimes its smooth motorin'.
Sometimes she doesnt like how i treat her and sometimes i dont like how she behaves.
BUT at the end of the day, she loves it when I am inside her.

Obviously there are as many opinions on exhaust approach for the M70 as there are owners, maybe more. Experimentation is difficult and sound quality is a personal thing. I will say I built my own header back exhaust and tried numerous configurations before settling on what I feel gives a rich V12 tone. Currently on my '91 I have high flow cats followed by 18" glass packs terminating with Magnaflow 12215 mufflers. It is a true dual exhaust with no X or H. I tried both and hated the rasp. My $.02.

I used #12148 Satin, welded the stock square tips on and powder coated everything black, 30% gloss. Looks very stock, and the sound is just right.

I used 14863 for mine. Candidly, I'm sorry I chose those, but I'm kinda stuck with them now. I like the Magnaflow exhaust, and the sound it gives, but if doing it all over again I would choose a different exhaust tip. Probably the 14871 in black, or else the 14862.

sometimes at certain speeds in my automatic when I'm slowing down and the gears are downshifting, some drone will occur for just a bit.
when accelerating I will get some derone if I'm in manual mode and I hold the rpm at certain speeds, but 99% of the time, no I get zero drone, just a beautiful sound.
when I'm at 110km/hr and cruising, the sound goes almost dead silent. AMAZING for highway drives for a long time. Press the throttle and beast roars again.

Thank you for the reply. Is everything else is stock on your car?
