    Question help deciding between 2014 335i with M-Sport+Tech vs 2017 340xi Sport Line+No Tech

Hi Guys, I am new in this forum and about to be a first time BMW owner this Friday. I really need your advise/suggestions on smt. I have been a Volvo s60 user and was happy with it but I needed smt more powerful so decided on buying a 2014 335i M-Sport, Techno Package/Navi, Premium, Drv. Assistance in 35K miles. However, I have just found another car, 2017 340xi for only $1500 more. The difference is that 335 has M-Sport and Techno and 340 is just sport package with No Techno Package (but it has Navi) plus it is an Xdrive, also in only 11K miles.
Which one does sound more reasonable to you? (both are CPO)
I appreciate all kind of comments

Hello and welcome to the forum! Those are both great cars, but it really comes down to what type use you'll have for the car. If you're looking for a great DD with economy in mind, get the 340; but if you're looking for a sporty car that you can tune and have a bit of fun with; then the 335 is the way to go. Whichever one you decide to go with, make sure to get a PPI done to make sure everything is perfect with the cars. Best of luck and post some photos when you pick up the new ride!

Im not following this logic... The 340 and 335 have basically the same engine. There is more tunability now for the 335i sure but there is a rapidly growing aftermarket for the 340i, and many mods for the 335i need minimal work to be compatible with the 340i.

Imo op id get the 2015 and facelift it

My brother just picked up a 2017 340i. They're much quicker 0-60 and probably freeway speeds than the 335i's stock on stock but of course with a $500 tune that can be fixed. Engines are similar but not the same. I know the b58's have a bigger turbo and slightly larger displacement than the n55's. Both are cool, i guess it comes down to budget and preference.
