I have replaced the crankshaft positioning sensor and I'm still getting nothing but a starter turning the crankshaft and fuel going to the cylinders
Check for spark at plugs.
Spark plugs are firing and I'm getting fuel
Recheck the installation of the crank position sensor. It has to be properly installed or else it'll send the DME no signal. Also, is the new sensor made by Siemens/VDO or some other company? It does matter.
Beck/arnley and yes I double checked the installation and I'm get signal
Use only BMW genuine OE replacement parts for critical sensor replacement,
or at the very least OEM-the Siemens/VDO that Marco recommended for this application.

I do not k ow if they fire at the right time I assume that may be the problem here, and the sensor is an OEM part.
since we aren't standing there with you - can you give us an idea how you verified fuel and spark?
'95 325iS - auto to manual swap done!
Like I said Idk if it's spark at the right time but I pulled the plugs and gave it a body ground and they are sparking as for the fuel the pump is running and I had my sis try to start the engine while I had a scope looking in the cylinders and I could see fuel being injected but Idk if it's the right amount of fuel either
New plugs?, you may have fouled the old ones if you had a no spark situation, and now have spark, try full throttle start, or starting fluid. Not sure if Motronics can give you wrong timing/fuel pulse.
Well now I have no spark (I had spark last night) so I gotta find out why and the plugs are new
I'd suggest that you start by returning the crankshaft sensor and buying an OE or OEM part. (OE means Original Equipment, in a BMW box. OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer; the same company that made the OE part for BMW. "Beck Arnley" is neither.)

Now its running...i bought a spark tester to see if the distributor needs to be replaced I started it up just needs make sure the battery is not dead and now it's running
^ Just open the cap and check the status of the rotor and contacts.
Brush em up if they're black, and replace the cap and rotor if the contacts are significantly smaller. Compare with a picture of a new cap if needed.
When I bought my '85 323i the engine still ran while the contacts were almost completely gone, so there is quite a bit of play there. Fresh is better though.
Back in the day when I owned vehicles with cap and rotor,
I replaced at least yearly,
and checked and cleaned spring-fall.
That is if you want flawless starting and performance.
I have replaced my cap and rotor as the rotor was so worn it caused the engine to skip (the new cap and rotor were OE parts)
