Original paint color on rear valance euro 728i

Does anyone know what the original color was on the rear valance on the euro 728? I think they were painted the body color on the US cars, but they were black on the euro cars (at least they were on the 728i, the 735 and 745 might have matched the body color). At first I thought it was just a black trim color, but I looked at it closely last night and it is actually a metallic paint, almost looks like anthracite. I'm sure my paint guy can match it, but if I had the actual paint code it would make life easier. If you know the paint color please let me know.

I've asked the same question. From what I've seen, it looks like an anthracite colour, as you describe.

I don't think anyone knows the paint code, so I'm going to match it as close to what I see on photos.

I'm debating whether to paint it the original color, or use a black bumper paint that would match the trim and front spoiler exactly. That might look better.
