If Senpai Alfonso Ferdinando won't be racing this weekend, who's going to take up his seat and entertain us with funny radio messages back to his team?

Only 6. I don't care one bit, stupid trivia about remembering years and stats for drivers.

The 2017 cars actually echo through the streets. Sort of nice, although can't wait for the loud cars to come back.

i don't know, but this morning has been great at work with F1 on in the background.

So Stroll had a meeting with the barriers in FP2. To be expected I guess. Max had a rough go of it last year.
Apples and oranges. Max had just been promoted to RBR and had won his first race, so he had some money in the bank, as it were. And even the year before, when he tagged RoGro, it was an ambitious move that he actually had an outside chance to pull off.
Stroll's just been a disaster all around, especially compared to the un-retired Massa, who's been solid. Stroll needs to earn a point or two this weekend---badly.

Sky Sports coverage is so pro-Hamilton it's ridiculous. They swallow all his garbage about the tires and the setup being to blame for his P13 start while totally ignoring the fact that HIS TEAMMATE QUALIFIED P3 (AND ONLY 0.043 OFF POLE) WITH THE EXACT SAME SETUP. That tells me it's not the tires, or the car........
Genuinely happy for Kimi. Just when you think he's resigned himself to playing 2nd fiddle, he whips out a lap like that.

Any news of Hamilton getting penalties for blocking Kvyat AND Magnussen?

Button: "It's my last qualifying session but probably my most enjoyable. The penalty still hurts, it doesn't matter how many races you've done. They told me yesterday and I was like 'Ohhh'. It's a shame but it's never easy. It's Fernando's fault."

Maybe it's the way the Monaco track changes so much, maybe the driving style in the tight track, maybe it's the walls... But for the first time with these turbo engines I was super into the quali, enjoyed them pushing their cars to the edge on the track and taking risks. It was immensely enjoyable to watch...then Hamilton out in Q2 and it became the best day ever! Then Kimi crushed it and took pole and my head exploded.
And I enjoyed watching though all I could find was a Danish commentated torrent...anyone know of a Sky torrent of quali? I only found one but my security systems tell me it's a seriously harmful site and not to even try accessing it. Why did damn extratorrent had to shut down! There's no place for me to buy an english language, quality F1 feed where I'm staying this weekend, torrent is only possibility.

Forza 7.
Well. Done.
Ferrari better play ball, tomorrow. They move Seb in front and I'll kick someone's dog.
More sportsmanlike conduct from the three time World Champion. Dude blocked two faster drivers for a shot at what? P10?
I love how much this season is getting to him after being beaten by Nico last year. Bottas being faster is icing on the cake.
These cars look so massive on that circuit now. Kind of wonder how well Alonso could have done in qualifying since he's consistently been a half second or more faster than Vandoorne in most qualifying sessions.

Both Kmag and Kvyat were livid. Kvyat even said over the radio that nothing will happen because it was Lewis who blocked him.
And, sure enough, zero mention of penalties for blocking.
Good quali but man the feed is terrible. Constantly showing cars on outlaps/warmup laps when people are doing hot laps.... or switching to some yahoo in the pits when someone starts their hot lap. Zero sector timing either. Had no idea what was going on through the lap and just had to watch the times on the left - even though there were people doing hot laps. Very frustrating to watch.

Also, Friday is a holiday in Monaco (hence the course closed and the roads open again) and the Monaco GP is always the sunday before Memorial day here in the US.
