    Front passenger footwell soaking wet

So it was raining all day and I noticed my passange raise footwell is soaking wet from the sender of the carpet towards the door. Any suggestions? I just had my windshield changed if that helps.

Get your labeler and ziploc bag ready if its heater core. If you are lucky your drain is clogged, should be located under the headliner.

Your windshield installer probably used too much sealant and clogged up the drain holes for the sunroof.
Remove the windshield side trims, which will let you peel up the windshield top rubber trim some.
The drain holes are on the top side of the windshield about 2-3 inches in. Get an X-Acto knife or something to remove all the sealant between the hole and the side channels of the windshield.

I just went in the car and turned on the heat to check how it was blowing and there is no air coming from the passenger side vents. thats the same side the carpet is wet. I'm starting to think its my heater core. am I correct?

The water on the floor and the recent windshield replacement seem like too much of a coincidence to not be related, and a leaking heater core would not prevent air from the vents. It might prevent warm air, but not ambient air. If the heater core was leaking it would be leaking coolant, not water. What's in the footwell, coolant or water? Is the coolant reservoir low?

I am in the clogged drains as a result of the windshield replacement camp.

Agreed. A clogged core would not prevent air flow. That sounds more like you cabin filters or an actuator. Check the one passenger side center near the floor. It can be kicked loose.

Sunroof drains exit on each side of windshield as shown below.

Could even be the passenger side actuator got water damaged.
No air from one side is definitely an actuator issue, not heater core.
It has also happened to people several times when they missed plugging in one of the plugs on the back of the IHKA, or a plug somehow got loose. I don't think the actuators are really in the path of the water damage, so I would check the IHKA plugs first.

Windshield siliconed right over drain exit. If this started right after replacement.

I just finished wet vaccing the car and it was water for sure not coolant. put the heat on again and was flowing from both sides so maybe I was just panicking this morning. the glass guy is gonna look at it tomorrow. the cream part of the trim in the picture was even wet towards the front, from there down the onto the IMG_0573.jpgcarpet im just happy its not the heater core. wasn't looking forward to taking out the dashboard again. it would be my 5th time.

The leak seems to be coming from the sunroof IMG_0585.jpgwater is dripping from the black piece near the two screws

Likely scenario: sunroof water drain clogged at windshield outlet > backs up into drain tube > leaks out and runs down the inside of A-pillar cover > water then runs to front lower trim (kick panel) > water ends up in footwell with wet carpet.

here is what happened first he put water in the gutter and track of the sunroof and water started dripping from the glove box. then he shot air through the drain form the top of the sunroof. I asked could he take the rubber windshield molding of and check the drains there but he didn't. he put some soap and hit it with air then pulled the top edges and tried to look under there that way. then he fiddled with a wire from behind the glass in the corner. he said those drains were fine. I told him how is he sure when he never actually took the rubber molding of to see them correctly. I said what if there is silicone there. he just kept saying they are fine. then he takes the headliner partly down just the passenger side. he then put water in the track area and gutter of the sunroof again and water was dripping from the spot in the picture. he tells me my sunroof is bad. that I need a new frame or bracket what ever he called it. he said its draining properly but the sunroof has a leak. I don't know what to think. I want to take the whole thing off myself.

I'm not buying it. If it started directly after he replaced the windshield he buggered it up with silicone.

So do it, it doesn't need any tools and takes 10 seconds.
The matte black molding on the side of the windshield pulls straight off, which then give you access to the end of the windshield top rubber trim, which also pulls right off.

It's supposed to just snap back in place, but if your windshield doesn't have the normal amount of silicone it might be harder, and the rubber might also be "glued on" by the excess silicone rather than snapped into the gap like it's supposed to be.

    This.

Also, if you had that much water on the passenger floorboard, I would strongly advise pulling the passenger seat to check for water in the fuse block area. It is the lower point of the floor pan and no vacuum is going to suck the water our of that area. The fuse block and comb slices there do not play well with water.

yes they do I checked realoem and it shows a left and right. the right side said the part has ended but not the left side. I put the right side part number in esc tuning and it did come up as the part being ended. I'm lost because I might have to change the right side. here are the part numbers left float-54128214993 right float-
