Just a heads up that I'm making another batch of Sanden 508 compressor brackets that will fit the m30 and s38 engines. So far 30 sets out of 50 have been reserved.
This project has always been a not for profit undertaking with over 200 sets sold. Let me know if your are interested in a set.

If this set is for deleting the air pump then I would be interested. How much are you asking?
The brackets allow for the install of a Sanden 508 a/c compressor using the existing a/c compressor mount. 508 clones are available new for about $115 shipped. I'm running 4 of them with r152 with excellent results. Here are some pics,

The price for each set is now $32. This price includes US shipping and paypal fees.

I guess I am behind the times. Is r134 being phased out?
I think R134a phase out is set for 2020. R152 is being looked at as a viable replacement. Educate yourself on R152a and then get it in this

Thanks for the update. DuPont must be trying to corner the market. The patent on 134 must have expired, or is soon to do so. Some companies welcome federal regulations!
hello ,
i need on set plz
I looked at some past posts, including the MyE28 link, trying to find out what material you use to make the brackets. Is is aluminum?
1/4" Stainless Steel.

OK, thanks. As long as they work on the S38 in an E34 M5 I'll take a set. Let me know when and how to pay you. Thanks for making these available to the forum.
I'm assuming that they will work on an e34 M5 since I've used them on the e24 M6 and the e28 M5 and they fit perfectly. I don't think anyone has confirmed fitment on the e34 M5 yet. You could be the first.
Anyway, as I said above I'm all sold sold out. The last 50 sets I made went very fast. If you want a set I can put you on the list of the next batch I'm planning on having made when I have some free time away from work to arrange.
cheers

Sorry for late reply ....i am using 508 compressor
Demet, what hoses and belt did you use on the '88 535? I'd like to accumulate all the right parts ahead of time.
Thx

Demet, what hoses and belt did you use on the '88 535? I'd like to accumulate all the right parts ahead of time. Also, please bump my order to three (3) sets. I'll do the M-car and a buddy's 535 while I'm at it.
Thx
For the e28 535is, I documented the hose specs here in this thread. http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=144670 I've also provided the clocking for the fittings in there so you can order them online. Coldhose.com can build the hoses for you for less than $40 per.
One thing to note is the hose from the condenser to the drier which needs a step up fitting if you're going to replace the condenser with a parallel flow condenser. The condenser is a #6 port but the oem drier has a #8 port. Option 2 that I documented for that hose is probably the best way to go on that. If you have any questions just ask. I'll post pics in the above thread of the hose connections for the e28 M5 and e24 M6 when I get some time.
cheers.

The brackets are in.
The price for each set is $32. If you're ordering 2 sets or more, then the price is $32 for the first set and $24.50 for each additional set that will fit into the same small flat rate box. This price includes US shipping and paypal fees.
Paypal to sandenbrackets@gmail.com. Please pay with the regular goods and services payment option and not the gift payment option. And in the note field please provide your forun handle so I can cross you off the list.
Thanks.
