The 850CSi was tuned by BMW's M division. Aside from sporting an M-tuned engine (as identified by the S prefix instead of the M prefix that a non-M tuned engine would bear), the car's VIN identifies the car as being built by BMW Motorsport (a WBS prefix) instead of BMW AG (WBA prefix). In germany the papers (title) actually had M8 on it.
Why don't we have an entry in the M-forum for this car ?

Only 1,510 (accdg to wiki) S70B56 have been built and no one knows how many are still existing and not all existing CSi owners are members here. There will be not enough traffic in a separate M8 forum. It is best to keep Q&A for this in the existing BMW 8 Series chassis code: E31 forum.
