Cars and coffee sounds too much like something you could go to or not, probably won't miss out on much.
I'm thinking a meet up in Cle Elum Washington near my cabin, I have a great big spot for many enthusiasts to park. The drive is nice and we could have a bb-q. There is however a gravel driveway that will get your car dusty...
Or, if anyone knows someone with a big lot where we could have a catered(loose translation of the word) picnic style meal. Sponsored by.... I'll start making calls and send out emails.
I've never organized something like this but optimistically I was thinking end of June on a weekend?
Thoughts?

Plattus, party of one?
Can't let your thread go nowhere. Back to the cars and coffee thread or whatever else you want to drink (hot tea, soda) and parking garage it on a weeknight.
You can probably pull this off with the 4 or5 people you know and more after the first picture.
And i promise to not drive the pickup
Awesome idea, too bad you guys are so far away.

Love the idea but far for me too. Now, if there was someplace more central that might work.

My car is running again, so I'd be down for something depending on the date.
That is because you live in FarmVille VA, where mud on the roads is considered normal!

Yep! Driveway is about a quarter mile of gravel that dumps you onto a gravel road, plus I always take a shortcut, about 2 1/2 miles of gravel that bypasses two traffic lights that can get pretty backed up on the week days going, and coming from work. When I wash the car, two days later, it's dirty again

It always rains there in the PNW so every day is wash day.....

The population growth and housing market say otherwise. :P
It's amazing when there's blue sky and no rain, absolutely amazing area. The people, a tad entitled and socially responsible to a fault but in the whole of the country, there are few places that match the beauty of Washington and nowhere I know of where you can start your drive in a rain forest, cross a mountain pass and be in an arid desert within 2 hours. This Spring was wet AF but it's still pretty.
Here on the East coast we are having full time rainforest weather for the month of May. Hopefully June will not end up being a drought season. Mtns are 1 hr, beaches are 2 hrs away, Wash DC is just across the river, and yes we have LOTS of the same cast of characters you see every day as they come here to "Change the world" with an election, bore into a Gov/advocacy job after their guy/gal gets blown out, and then they stay for life. Our circus is a ongoing daily event regardless of election outcomes. Soon, we will look a lot like Calif.....
By the way I was just jerking your chain on your earthly crunchy area......
