Broken E36 Seat Recliner Help

Hey guys! I have a broken seat recliner in my 1997 BMW 328i. I don't have the replacement gear, but I was curious if there was any way I'd be able to adjust the seats in the meantime. Thanks!

Based on the worm gear design, No unless you count pulling the recline cable off and turning it by hand.

I'm facing the same problem too on both front seats.. but my seat is in a comfortable position.

Actually. It's good you made this thread. Makes me want to replace the electric motors before they completely fail.

Once the horizontal seat adjustor motor fails.., I'm sure it won't be fun trying to remove both seats.
