I've got an error code that says cam sensor A bank 1. My m54 has intake and exhaust cam sensors. Doesn't it? Is this the intake sensor? That's the only code I get.
I just replaced the crank vent system and the lower intake boot. Cleared all codes and cleared adaptations. Now get this code.

Camshaft sensor, bank 1 = INTAKE, Camshaft sensor, bank 2 = EXHAUST
I've also included a DIY tech article on testing the cam sensor replacement and testing. Hope this helps a bit as well.

Ok I feel like a dumbass. I was replacing the crank case vent system. During disassembly I unplugged the cam sensor from the harness bundle under the DISA valve. When I was putting it all back together I quadruple checked to make sure every sensor was plugged back in. Looks like I forgot the cam sensor. Car runs like a top now.
Thanks forvthe help
