    Cupholder....

Aagggghhhh, now I remember, my 06 X5 had the same problem...
My "new to me" 07 530xiT which is into it's second week with me just developed another problem...
Really it's not a big deal, I came out of Dunkin with coffee, intending to let it cool a bit while driving to my studio....ha..no such luck the XXXX coffee holder won't pop out.
So that is 2nd on the list of "repairs"....pretty good so far !
Driving really carefully with a large HOT coffee between my legs....IIRC these were about $35 to replace?

Oh no i hope you get it fixed. I don't know the price for the cup holder but im guessing the spring is stuck in the back? Is it possible to fix maybe?

The ones on our 08 535xit have broken over the years and I replaced them with aftermarket ones. They are an excellent match for stock.

These things range from over $200 to $60 for aftermarket.....buying a used one seems to make no sense, probably break soon, so how are the cheap ones lasting...

I have had one after market in for 2 years and one for 1 year. They seem fine to me so far.
