    Megasquirt 2 v3.57 on m50tu

I have followed goathumper's tutorial on the pnp adapter harness. I have everything built, but with difficulties with glensgarage I have been waiting on parts that may never come.

Anyways, I have been having a problem with testing the tach output to my laptop. I haven't fired it, just cranking. I figured that it should at least show the little rpm it's spinning while cranking, but in getting absolutely nothing. Other sensors, like IAT, TPS and CTL are working and have been roughly calibrated. At the moment I have jp1 pins 1 and 2 jumpered. And j1 pins 5 and 6 jumpered. Turned the dash pots back as read on msextra.com. There's also a jumper on xg1 and xg2. Not sure if I have to removed that.
Also wondering where I can pull 12v from the megasquirt for my tach output to the factory tach.

Last question (probably a stupid one), when I connect the 88 pin adapter harness to my factory harness it seems like my main relay is always on. I was thinking I have a diode backwards therefore continuously supplying +12v to it. But the band is facing pin 26.

Any help or advice is appreciated.

    Matt Johnson.
