Whenever I start my 98 328i in morning it starts making this clicking noise, sounds like its from engine bay. anyone know what it is? Am at 120k Miles and am running 0W-40 mobile 1 European car formula. Watch video https://youtu.be/gL1TbcmZOHI
That continuous clicking sound is what I'm talking about.
Seems like it goes away when driven hard or warned up.

I'm having a very similar noise, start up only, but only about 25% of what you have. It's not cyclic. I'm hedging my bets on water pump - it sounded like the front acc. drive.
It's not lifter tick.
