4x4 light, 4x4 engaged. cannot shut off. Actuator - xfer case replaced 1 Mo. ago.

I have the 4x4 light stuck on and the 4x4 is engaged. Cannot shut it off. I replaced the actuator motor on the transfer case a month ago and now this has cropped up.
Any Ideas?

My guess is that the transfer case clutch wasn't previously activated, but now that it is, it is triggering some transfer case related error. Do you have a way to check the codes with INPA or some other BMW specific scanner?
A transfer case fluid change might help, if you haven't done that already.

I have a clicking noise under acceleration. Sounds like its coming from the right front but could be wrong. I know its not the center support bearing. Wondering if its a CV joint or something within the transfer case.

this is a video of someone else but it sounds just like that. However, it doesn't make any clicking noise when I am turning, only when the wheels are straight and I am accelerating. Does not do it while coasting or off of the gas.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
