I want to do a manual swap from my 323i to 330ci. I want to know what parts are interchangeable between the 2 other than drive shaft. And will the flywheel clutch and pressure plate fit on a m45

You'll need your computer flashed or h
Get one with it that is already programmed for a manual. They should swap since they are the same blocks, just different stroke?

other than the computer flashed, i want to see what i will be able to transfer from my 323i to my 330ci (mechanically). already have that part sorted out
Mechanically, I'm not sure. Driveshaft will be different. And not sure on the rear subframe. I'm taking my whole motor and driveline out of my 330i and putting it in a 325i currently. I have yet to see a coupe, and really tear into it.

Progress on this??

transmission and driveshaft will bolt up fine. Computer just needs adaptions cleared once the transmission computer is removed.
As mentioned the diff ratio is different, and i believe the 323 had a smaller diff and rear axles in it.

Good! I have a m54 swap in my 325i. Everything bolts right up. Easy swap for sure

Is the new tranny a 5-speed or a 6-speed? The 6-speed tranny is longer. Also, BMW changed the number of splines on the the tranny’s input shaft somewhere during the production of the E46.
