Hey,
I'm in the process of installing custom Ambient lighting in the doorpanels;
My plan was to hook them up to the window button-light.
However, I want to be able to switch them on and of independent of the headlights being on or off... so my question is which wire do i have to install a switch in to turn the interior light on and off?
Thanks
I have lighting in the door panels too and I just connected to the puddle light circuit on each door. So when my interior lights are on, the lights in the panels are on. I have then installed in the bins in the panels.

The way I'm thinking is why turn on these add on lights in the daytime? So put a switch in line to the door puddle lights at the bottom of each door. That way you can turn them off/on at night.
